Season 2018: Cruise tourists start arriving to Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro season 2018: Even going through a bad time, Rio de Janeiro continues to attract many tourists. For example, this month will be given the start for the 2017/2018 Sea Cruises season at Pier Maua (Rio de Janeiro harbor). On October 29th the International cruise Terminal of the wonderful city receives its first atraction: The International ship Oceania Sirena, a small craft and Luxurious with over 800 people on board. From there to the  April 29th, 2018, the operation no longer stops! There will be 94 arrivals, of which 23 are long-haul (international) cruises and 25 ships in total. In this period, more than 380,000 tourists are expected to take advantage of varied itineraries in Brazil.

Tourists are greeted at the cruise terminal located in the 4 and 5 warehouses of Pier Maua. These facilities are located in front of one of the light rails (VLT) stations, the "Ship Stop", and close to the external warehouse, where currently one of its walls houses the work "Ethnia" by Eduardo Kobra. There in the "external", buses and other vehicles are parked to make the transfer of visitors to various points of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
